Georgia and Ohio’s Modernized Opioid Surveillance Strategies

This brief highlights how the Georgia Department of Public Health and the Ohio Department of Health developed robust opioid overdose surveillance systems. Collecting and disseminating comprehensive data informs prevention activities and drives a targeted response to the opioid epidemic.
